Shopify B2B

Wholesale and retail, running from one Shopify store.

We set up company accounts, wholesale pricing and the buyer experience so trade customers can reorder on their own, without emails and spreadsheets.

Short answerShopify B2B lets you sell wholesale from the same store as your retail site. Since April 2, 2026 native B2B works on Basic, Grow and Advanced plans, with company profiles, up to three B2B catalogs, volume pricing, quantity rules and payment terms. Shopify Plus adds unlimited catalogs, deposits, partial payments and checkout customization.

FAQ

Shopify B2B & Wholesale: common questions.

Can I run B2B on Shopify without Plus?

Yes. Since April 2, 2026, Basic, Grow and Advanced include native B2B: company profiles, up to 3 B2B catalogs, volume pricing and quantity rules, payment terms and vaulted cards. Plus is needed for unlimited catalogs, direct catalog assignment, deposits and partial payments. Read B2B without Plus.

What does a Shopify B2B build include?

We set up companies and locations, catalogs and price lists, quantity rules and volume pricing, payment terms and the wholesale sign-in experience. On the storefront we design B2B-friendly features like quick order flows, minimums and clear pricing for logged-in buyers. We also connect any apps you use for wholesale sign-up or ERP sync.

Should B2B and retail be in one store or two?

One blended store works well when wholesale and retail share most products and branding: companies sign in and see their own prices. A separate B2B store suits very different catalogs, brands or checkout rules. We'll recommend a setup after reviewing your price lists and how your wholesale customers order.

How do wholesale customers sign up and log in?

B2B buyers use Shopify customer accounts, signing in with email and a one-time code. You approve them as companies in the admin, then assign catalogs and payment terms. For self-serve applications, we add a wholesale request form, and you review and approve each company before they see trade pricing.

Can buyers pay on invoice or net terms?

Yes. Shopify B2B supports payment terms such as net 30, so buyers can place orders and pay later, plus vaulted credit cards for repeat orders. Deposits and partial payments are Plus-only. You can also use draft orders to quote, lock prices and send invoices for larger accounts.

How many price lists can I have?

On Basic, Grow and Advanced you can have up to 3 active B2B catalogs, which covers many wholesalers (for example, distributor, retailer and VIP tiers). If you need customer-specific pricing for many accounts, Shopify Plus allows unlimited catalogs and assigns them directly to companies and locations.
