FAQ
Website Design (non-Shopify): common questions.
Do you build websites that aren't on Shopify?
Yes. Besides Shopify stores, we build simple non-ecommerce websites, for example on Framer, for brands, studios and service businesses. As with Shopify, everything is set up under your own accounts. For full online stores we usually recommend Shopify; see Framer vs Webflow vs WordPress.
Framer, Webflow or WordPress: which should I choose?
Framer is fastest for design-led marketing sites that you edit visually. Webflow suits larger content sites with more complex CMS needs. WordPress is the most flexible and has the biggest plugin ecosystem, but needs hosting and ongoing maintenance. Our take: pick the one your team will actually update. Read our comparison.
How much does a website cost?
It depends on the number of pages, design complexity, CMS needs and integrations, plus platform costs: Framer's paid site plans start at $10/month, for example, while WordPress needs hosting. We quote after a short discovery call once we understand your scope. See how much a website costs.
What is your web design process?
The same process as our Shopify projects: you fill in a design questionnaire, we deliver the first design in under a week, you get up to 3 revision rounds, then we build, test and launch. Communication runs through email or Basecamp. Read more about our web design process.
Will you host my website?
No. We never host client websites. Your site, domain and platform account are set up in your own name, so you own everything and can work with anyone in the future. Hosting is provided by the platform itself, such as Framer, or by a host you choose for WordPress.
